- Sixteen participants with mild severity Parkinsons Disease engaged in a weekly 1.25 hour dance class at Canada’s National Ballet School and Trinity locations in toronto

- Found that those who trained weekly had less motor impairment
- People with parkinson’s disease who train once per week had an overall slower rate of change in motor scores when compared to PwPD who do not train
- Our results indicate positive benefits of weekly training for stopping disease progression of motor and non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease
